Crispy Candied Pecans

Ingredients:
2 cups of pecans
3 Tbsp maple syrup
1⁄4 tsp salt
1⁄4 tsp cinnamon
- 1⁄4 tsp cayenne pepper
Instructions:
Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 325°F.
Combine maple syrup, cinnamon, and cayenne in a medium bowl, toss the pecans in the mixture until they are evenly coated. Spread the coated pecans over the lined baking sheet, season with salt.
Place the baking sheet in the oven, let the pecans bake for 10 minutes, then stir them to ensure they are baking evenly. Stir every 5 minutes until the pecans are deeply golden and the syrup has thickened slightly. Remove from the oven and allow them to cool completely. They will continue to crisp up as they cool.
