Garlicky Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

Ingredients
:
1 lb
organic Brussels sprouts
, washed and trimmed
4 oz
uncured bacon
, chopped
1 Tbsp
unsalted butter
1 Tbsp
extra virgin olive oil
5 cloves fresh
garlic
, minced
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
:
Heat oil in a large cast iron skillet over medium heat.
Add bacon and cook, stirring often, until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside.
Add butter and garlic to skillet and sauté for about 2-3 minutes.
Add Brussels sprouts and sauté until they soften and begin to brown, about 10-12 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir in bacon, serve immediately.
