Dark Chocolate Raspberry Brownies

Ingredients:
- ½ cup butter
- ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup granulated cane sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ¾ cup unbleached wheat flour
- 1 (6 oz) pkg fresh raspberries
- ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F, grease an 8-inch x 8-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
- In a 2 quart pot, melt butter over medium heat whisk in cocoa powder until smooth. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
- In a bowl, mix together chocolate and butter mixture, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Stir in flour until just combined. Fold in raspberries and chocolate chips.
- Scrape batter into the prepared baking dish. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a tester comes out with fudgy crumbs.
