Spicy Cabbage Steaks
- 1 red or green cabbage, cored and cut into 1-inch slices
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp kosher salt
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the salt, pepper, and spices. Brush each slice of cabbage front and back with olive oil, and sprinkle generously with spice mixture.
- Bake on the prepared baking sheet for 25 minutes, or until browned and tender. Serve immediately.
